Paul Cropper
Post-Doctoral Research AssociateDr Paul Cropper is a Post-doctoral Research Associate in the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering at Loughborough University. Paul specialises in the application of computer models to evaluating the design and operational performance of buildings. He has a particular interest in Indoor Environmental Quality and has developed techniques for coupling Computational Fluid Dynamics with a model of Human Thermal Comfort to simulate the two-way interaction between a human body and its surrounding environment. This coupled system enables both the effect building occupants have on the indoor environment and how this environment affects their individual thermal comfort to be studied.
